Yikes! Has it really been 6 WEEKS since I posted a Weekend Whisk post?!? How time flies! Life has just gotten in the way of me posting a “real life” post lately. This week it’s a stroke of pure luck that I’ve been posting at all. You see, I’ve been hanging out with this cutie all week. My niece Ava has been staying with us for the last week and a half. We have been loving every minute of it.

These three girls have enjoyed each other immensely! Tummy time …

Strolls to the park …

Murphy has pretty much stuck to this little girl like glue. His station has been at her feet whenever I sit down with her.

In addition to baby days, I decided to cut my hair off again. Loving the ease of it!

With warmer weather finally here (and hopefully to stay this time) I finally hit the pavement for my first outdoor run of spring. Man, it felt so good to run outside again. Fresh air, sun and not staring at a wall in my house felt fantastic. I decided to see if Murphy could keep up. Since he’s just a few months over a year old now I feel like he’s big enough for it now. Looks like I have a new running partner! He did great with it and I’m thrilled. I loved having him along beside me.

Now it’s time to start prepping for the Easter festivities! And by prepping of course, I mean making desserts. That’s about it around these parts. Hopefully it won’t be another six weeks but until then, as always you’ll find a recap of the deliciousness that’s been happening around here in case you missed it.

Enjoy!

You are the cutest, prettiest person I ever did see and the photos of your daughters and niece are just so cheek ‘pinchable’, I could die. Love, love, love your haircut and can I bite the baby cankle? 😉 Glad you’re running again, and I commend and envy you because I can’t and could never run for long. I was always more of stairmaster/aerobics girl. I guess I like to burn in place? As for the baseball guy story, doubtful, but you never know with me lol
