I want to start this Saturday off a little different that I normally would. I want to start by saying, “Thank you!” Thank you to all of you who take time out of your days to read what I write here. Thank you for taking the time to leave such kind comments and making my recipes. Sometimes as I write I feel like my little space on the vast internet is just that, a little unnoticed space. That is, until you all talk to me. I love when you tell me about your lives, likes and dislikes. And I appreciate when you let me know that I’m doing something right and you enjoy what I’m putting out here. The other day a fellow blogger gave me a big thank you and I was so surprised. Suzanne wrote a post about saying thank you and paying it forward. She bestowed on me, along with a few other bloggers the “Very Inspiring Blogger Award.”

I was so flattered and so pleased to hear that the things I post here inspire people and bring them joy. I continually realize that I am so fortunate to be a part of an amazing, inspiring, creative and supportive community of readers and bloggers alike. So I just wanted to make sure that you all know how much I appreciate you. Thank you for supporting me and being a part of what inspires me. Now, it’s my turn to pay it forward. There are so many incredibly talented people who inspire me daily but I feel like a few really stand out from the crowd. I know they’ll inspire you as well.

Parsley, Sage & SweetLisa never fails to blow me away with her creativity and incredibly writing. I wish I had half her talent for weaving words and creating unique recipes.

Creative CulinaryBarb is wildly imaginative with all her recipes. The way she combines ingredients in a manner that makes me say “Mmm…” and as she writes, you will feel like you’re talking with an old friend. Thankfully, I can actually call Barb my friend.

Poet in the PantryI adore that Carrie and I have so much in common. She inspires me to be me all the time here on this site. Much like me, she writes from the heart about whatever may be going on (moving, children, life’s trials and more) and that includes writing about when things may not have gone as planned and still posting the results. She also inspires me to try new things each month.

Cake Duchess & Life’s A Feast – Lora (Cake Duchess) and Jamie (Life’s A Feast) as well as Barb (Creative Culinary) have inspired me to overcome my fear of yeast once and for all! Twelve Loaves has been the pivotal point of my bread baking. Thanks these talented yeast pros I can finally say, “I can bake bread!”

I hope I inspire you all even a small fraction of how much these ladies inspire me. This weekend I’m in the vast beauty of upstate New York attending the #NYDairyFarmtoTable event that I can’t wait to share with you so be on the lookout for that very soon. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

As always you’ll find a recap of what’s been going on here this week and don’t forget to enter for your chance to win a Tate’s Bake Shop Cookie & Bar Tower. CLICK HERE!

Enjoy!

Thank you! I am always so surprised and thrilled when someone says I inspire them but I always hope that what I do serves some purposes and touches people in a positive and inspiring way. And you have me with a great group of women – each of whom truly do inspire!
