Seasons 52: A Dining Experience To Remember

Recently I had the unique pleasure of being invited to dine at Seasons 52. I was treated to an incredible multi-course meal at the Edison, NJ location but with over 50 locations in the United States, I’m sure you’re lucky enough to have one close by too. If you haven’t taken the opportunity to eat there, you absolutely must! Seasons 52 is a fresh grill and wine bar that invites guests to discover the sensational flavors of a seasonally-inspired menu and award-winning international wine list in a casually-sophisticated ambiance.

When we arrived, our small, intimate group was seated at the chef’s table. Fresh spices served as wall art while the knowledgeable, approachable servers entertained us with stories about the restaurant, the food we were experiencing and the wine paired along with it. The chef greeted us and gave us the unique experience of personally telling us about the food we were about to enjoy.

As we dined we were treated to live music floating through the air from the piano in the breathtaking bar area which added such a nice touch to an already amazing space. The ambiance of Seasons 52 is comfortable and inviting with a sophisticated feel.

We began our evening with champagne in celebration of the beautiful meal we were about to share. Our menu for this special evening was filled with tempting seasonal selections.

As we sipped champagne, we were greeted with exquisite flatbreads to taste. My favorite was the lobster with fresh mozzarella, roasted sweet peppers, scallions, lobster sour cream and a hint of citrus.

As with any meal, as much as I enjoyed each delectable bite dessert remains my favorite course. Seasons 52 did not disappoint. Offering many classic selections like carrot cake, pecan pie, key lime pie and cannoli along with some inventive creations such as mocha macchiato. With the change of the seasons, comes seasonal dessert selections as well like pumpkin pie or summer blueberry cheesecake. All their selections are miniature sizes that don’t skimp on taste or decadence, the servings are the perfect size to satisfy your sweet tooth without going overboard.

If you have the opportunity to dine at Seasons 52, I highly recommend it. The staff is warm, friendly and very knowledgable about the restaurant, ingredients and wine. Service was quick but not rushed. The experience was sophisticated without feeling stuffy. This is a restaurant for a romantic evening dinner for two, getting together with old friends, a birthday celebration or to host a business meeting in one of Season 52’s rooms fully equipped with drop down screens and sliding, sound proof privacy walls that still maintain the casual elegance. No matter what the occasion, Seasons 52 is the perfect spot.
