Munch Madness 2014: Round One Update!

The Munch Madness 2014 competition is well underway! Have you been checking in over on Knuckle Salad to see who’s coming out on top? I hope so! There have been some interesting combinations and the judges are in full tasting mode. Hope you filled out a bracket! There are prizes at stake here people. Well, over on Knuckle Salad, right now it’s all about Round One: Match 6!

Munch Madness: Cheez-Its & Hummus -

Let me tell you, the tasting experience was an interesting one. My match up consisted of Cheez-Its dipped in hummus which was definitely not a combination I had ever thought to try.

Munch Madness: Bagel with Cilantro Grape Puree -

The competitor that went up against this cheesy chickpea combo was a bagel topped with cream cheese. On top of that was a puree of grapes with cilantro. Yep, cilantro. Talk about a wild card!

Both Maddy and Molly tasted along with me. Maddy had some pretty intense feelings towards Cheez-Its and hummus. Molly enjoyed her bagel while Maddy was a little more apprehensive and in the end shunned that combination too. But ultimately, I’m the final judge.

Curious to see how it all played out? Head over to Knuckle Salad to see who the winner was and if it matched up to your bracket! Good luck! SEE ROUND ONE, MATCH 6 HERE!

I lost a few rounds already on the Munch Madness, but it is fun to see the combos out there!

I would totally be all over that hummus, but your bagel and cream cheese sounds yummy too. Who could go wrong with cilantro added to anything, right?

I really wasn’t sure how the cilantro would play out in the bagel but man oh man, I was pleasantly surprised! And hummus and Cheez-Its totally rocks 🙂
