Mixed Seed Bread

How much does this look like a giant everything bagel? The things that are lost on me while baking are glaringly apparent after downloading my camera and laying my eyes on the pictures taken. Well, this isn’t a bagel of any kind although these seeds would be a welcome addition to any bagel. This is a ring of soft, buttery bread scattered with a mixture of beautiful seeds including flax, toasted sesame, black caraway, midget sunflower, poppy and more.

This bread is a hearty, tasty option along side dinner or shape it into rolls for a flavorful carrier for your sandwich at lunch. Toast up slices for breakfast or make a large boule for larger slices. This mixture of seeds added so much flavor and appealing texture making this a very interesting little loaf of bread.

Wow it does sort of look like a giant bagel! Ha ha. I love it. I always go for the seeded baguette if given the choice. So I know I would love this ring.

Thanks Katie! It’s so soft and buttery and those seeds give such a nice taste and texture.

Thanks so much Barb! When I made it, it didn’t even occur to me that it may look like a bagel… and then the camera downloaded 😉

This looks delicious, I could easily devour a slice with some butter on.

Yes, I switched! I’ve been messing around and I still haven’t found the perfect one. The other there were commenting issues. This one doesn’t show the main image. So it’s a process 😉 I’m very happy you’re able to comment here from you phone now though! I’m the same way and if I can’t comment from my phone later I may not remember to do it at all. Thanks so much!
