Let’s just not even go on and on about my love of lemon like I do pretty much every time I post a recipe containing this lovely citrus fruit. It’s all been said before and you all know it so I won’t wax poetic. But I will get all sh-mushy about just how much I love these little swirly lemon curd rolls. (Sh-mushy? Is that even a thing? I say yes.) These tender little rolls are the perfect special breakfast treat or afternoon snack. Inside you’ll find a little bright lemony curd for just a little sweetness.

They’re sweet enough to be something special but not so sweet that you think you’re eating dessert. Just a bit of citrus goodness that says, “Hello there, Sunshine!” These rolls will brighten up any day. My girls inhaled them and I may have eaten my fair share as well considering my love of lemon. I have an obsession with lemony sweets, too! Something about that tart tart with the sweetness of sugar is just so incredibly pleasing. I love the way these turned out, that spiral is beautiful!

Sh-mushy, good word. I too have an ongoing love affair with citrus, especially lemons and limes. Love the rolls and that they are not overly sweet.
