These muffins almost need no introduction. Just the word “Nutella” in the title is enough to make many people’s mouths water. What’s not to love about Nutella? In my book, it ranks up there with bacon as one of the world’s perfect foods. I love to eat it straight from the jar on a spoon and putting a dollop on nearly any fruit. I spread it on toast and muffins too. So when An assigned up her Nutella Doughnut Muffins for this week’s assignment. I didn’t want to change a thing. I was in love with the simple muffin with only a hazelnut swirl.
But I decided to add just one thing, dried cherries. I adore cherries and Nutella together so I thought their addition would be the perfect little touch to an already wonderful muffin. The only other thing I changed was using buttermilk in place of regular milk. These muffins are a breeze to put together all in one bowl which means less dishes to do. That’s always a plus in my book! Then a mere 15 minutes later you’ll be munching on moist muffins with bits of cherry and a hazelnut swirl that is just divine. Happy Monday! If you’d like to make these muffins head on over to Baker Street for the recipe.
Enjoy!

I’m totally loving this combo! And your muffins are absolutely stunning! Great job!
Thanks Chung-An!
I’ll bet the buttermilk made them even more fluffy! Chocolate and dried cherries are a great combination. Like a chocolate-covered cherry muffin. Genius!
Thanks! I adore adding buttermilk to things. I love the flavor it adds.
I love the addition of the cherries. It’s like eating a chocolate covered cherry muffin. Now my mouth is watering. Happy #MuffinMonday!
Oh yaaa!! I should have called them chocolate covered cherry muffins 🙂
nutella and biscoff are my new faves to play with!
Oh my goodness! I only discovered Biscoff spread a few months ago and I love it! And Nutella has always been a huge favorite of mine.
I love the addition of cherries! Yum!
Thanks Jessica! The chocolate and cherries were so good together.
Can you send me over a batch pronto? This combines three of my favourite foods – chocolate, nutella and cherries. If only there was a way to incorporate bacon into the mix, too….
Oh yes! If only there were bacon 😉 then these may be the world’s most perfect food. So glad you like them!!
Oh how I love Nutella, I maybe have a slight obsession. These muffins look perfect, I might have a slight obsession with muffins as well 🙂
You and me both, Erin!! Obsessed I am. I always have Nutella in my house. So glad you like these muffins!
