Blaze Pizza Review

There are a few foods in life that I really couldn’t ever see giving up. Pizza definitely falls firmly into that category.  It’s in the top three for sure, beside ice cream and pasta. But there really aren’t too many things in life more perfect that dough topped with sauce, cheese and any number of toppings. I think my favorite thing is that the variety is just endless. Whatever you crave, you can throw on a pizza and it’s guaranteed to be delicious.

Blaze Pizza ReviewRecently I had the opportunity to dine at Blaze Pizza. This fast casual restaurant focuses on exceptional quality at lightning fast speed. The staff was warm, friendly and very efficient. I was met by nothing but smiles and good service. They were helpful explaining what Blaze Pizza had to offer. As I watched them carefully prepare the pizza, I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into my first slice. Their dough proofs for a full 24 hours to create a dough that’s light as air and with a crisp, thin crust. You can make your own pizza from their vast selection of healthful, artisanal ingredients or feel free choose from any of Blaze’s Signature Pizzas. Once you decide, 3 minutes in a blazing hot oven is all it takes to get great pizza. That’s what I call instant gratification!

Blaze Pizza ReviewI decided to make my own pizza with Blaze’s spicy red sauce which I topped with fresh mozzarella, a sprinkle of goat cheese, artichokes, spinach and mushrooms. The sauce was spicy and full of flavor without burning my tongue off. Once topped with all those tender, fresh vegetables it was pizza pie perfection. We also sampled some of Blaze’s signature pizzas as well. The Meat Eater was packed full of pepperoni and meatballs and a scattering of sweet red onions. Red Vine was topped with ovalini mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, basil and finished with an olive oil drizzle. These classic Italian flavors that left us wanting more.

My two favorites were more on the unique side. My love of pizza was firmly divided between the BBQ CHKN, topped with grilled chicken, mozzarella, red onion, banana peppers, gorgonzola and a bbq sauce drizzle, closely followed by the Green Stripe which was a pesto drizzle over grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, chopped garlic, mozzarella and arugula. These two pizzas were creative and jam packed with flavors. I couldn’t get enough of them. Good thing these pizzas are super thin. You’ll end up eating an entire one by yourself and not feel like you’ve overdone it.

Blaze Pizza ReviewThe perfect end to our pizza feast? S’mores hand pies! I’m pretty sure that was the girls favorite part. They were covered in ooey gooey marshmallows and smooth, melted chocolate. Blaze Pizza is definitely a place where I will be dining again and I think you’ll love it too! That’s why today I’m giving away 2 Blaze Pizza Passes ($8/each) to 5 winners!!! I like spinach on my pizza as well as caramelized onions. My all time favorite combination starts with chopped garlic on an olive oil base, leafy spinach, feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, pine nuts, mozzarella and fresh basil…It’s divine!

Simple marinara sauce and mozzarella, perhaps with some red bell peppers and olives. . .but as long as it has sauce and cheese, we’re in good shape!

I like Hawaiian pizza, except instead of ham, I sub in spicy sausage! Also, extra cheese 🙂 . Red pepper flakes a must.
