A New Feature For You!

I’m excited to let you all know about a new feature here at Food Babbles. You’ll notice that I’ve added a Save Recipe button to each recipe post, so you can now save your favorites to your own personal recipe boxes. Not only that  you can use this feature along with any other recipes you find across the web where you also see that same Save Recipe button. You can also save the recipe ingredients to your online shopping lists with one click. How is this magic possible?
I’ve teamed up with ZipList to make this happen.

WHAT IS ZIPLIST?

ZipList is a free online recipe box. They have free mobile apps, or you can use their website. You can access your recipe box from your phone or computer any time you want.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once you’ve signed up for a ZipList account (which is completely free), anytime you hit this little “save” button on Food Babbles from now on, the recipe will be saved to your ZipList recipe box, and the ingredients will be added to your grocery list.
If you already have certain ingredients, you can easily remove some items, or change the quantities of others.
ZipList partners with tons of food sites across the web, including Martha StewartWoman’s Day, and the The Daily Meal not to mention the countless food blogs just like this one already using this feature.
Now you can have all your favorite recipes in one spot, plan a week’s worth of menus from them, and add the items you need for those recipes to your grocery list with hardly any effort at all.
Pretty cool, huh?
I hope that you like the new ZipList addition. It practically eliminates return trips for forgotten items from the store and it makes menu planning a breeze!
You can also access your recipe box and shopping list from my website, ZipList.com and using free mobile apps so you have what you need wherever you go.
I’m excited to hear what you all think!
Enjoy!
~K
