Are you ready? With Christmas only two days away, do you have your menu all planned? In our family, I tend to be the dessert maker at our holiday meals. Shocker, I know. But I also absolutely love coordinating a big family brunch. I love meals that can be prepared ahead of time then popped into the oven the morning of the feast. It makes a busy day of cooking just a little less stressful when you can preplan.

Cheesy Sausage & Broccoli Strata - FoodBabbles.comThis cheesy sausage and broccoli strata is that kind of recipe. Prepared the day before, bread is tossed with savory sausage, sharp cheddar cheese and tender broccoli florets then all that gets to soak up an egg mixture overnight. The next morning simply preheat your oven and pop in your strata. Boom! Breakfast is served. While you and your family unwrap presents and try out your new goodies, breakfast makes itself. By the time you’re done checking out what Santa brought, your strata will be all ready.
